David G. Moss, 69, of Castle Rock, WA passed away March 24, 2016 at home. He was born February 16, 1947 to Emery and Mary (Matson) Moss in Longview. He graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1965 and was a pipefitter/welder for JH Kelly until his retirement in 2002.
David had many friends from his high school days, little league coaching and working at Fibre, Norpac and Weyerhaeuser. He built a cabin in Alaska and wintered in Arizona. His family was the most important thing in his life and he was so proud of all of them.
David is survived by his wife, Linda (Patton) of 50 years; his daughter, Pam LeMonds (Bill); and son, Michael Moss (Karen); four grandsons, Sam, Ridge, Ryder and River; and one granddaughter, Hannah.
A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 312 1st Ave SW, Castle Rock. Viewing will be from 12pm-1pm at Hubbard Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a children’s hospital of your choice. Hubbard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
