10/20/21 - Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen

As stated previously, your Union stood in solidarity with you throughout this pandemic, and we continue today. Providing a safe and healthy workplace are the core of a union’s role, and this pandemic is no exception. We have had long battles within the rail industry to promote these core safety values, because a paycheck alone is meaningless if you die at work. We have all suffered from this pandemic; in the early going, we were able to stay safer on the job by insisting that the proper PPE was obtained and distributed. Just as important, we were able to assure continued employment through the worst of the pandemic for a large number of our members.
