In Memoriam: NEIL E. DIXON

Neil Dixon Obituary Neil Edward Dixon, 70, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born on December 28, 1954, Neil was a lifelong Baltimore resident whose warmth, humor, and devotion to his family left an enduring impact on all who knew him. Neil is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Dixon; his son, Ronald Crook, Jr., and wife, April; and his daughter, Amy Pagliaro, and husband, Dominic Pagliaro, Jr. He was a proud and loving grandfather to his cherished grandchildren, Alexia, Dominic, III, Enzo, Hank, David, Anastazia and Domenic and great-grandchildren, Zalaya and Xander, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Dixon, and his daughter, Kelly Marie Dixon, whose memory he held close to his heart. Neil was a proud member of the Teamsters Union, dedicating 42 years of his life to hard, honest work and to the values of loyalty and solidarity. His strong work ethic and dedication to his fellow workers were just a few of the many ways he led by example. Neil's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the family he cherished above all else. Visitation hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 from 1 - 5 pm. Interment private. Steve Ferry Retires!

Steve Ferry retired from Amsted Rail on June 27th after a 42-year career. Steve was a long-haul truck driver before settling in at Amsted Rail, and 42 years later, he’s retired! Steve worked as a forklift driver and in assembly for a while, but the majority of his time was spent running CNC lathe machining centers. As technology advanced, he worked with robots on the shop floor.
